Hi, I just joined the Disabled Passions site and decided to visit the forum to introduce myself. I'm not disabled myself, but I have encountered struggles in life, and I think that is why I am attracted to those who society labels "disabled". Because when one goes through a struggle they had no control over, they have the capacity to understand so much more about themselves, gain such a broader perspective, and have such an amazing outlook on life, that I seldom find elsewhere.
