Hey,
While not new here, I never posted in the forums on Passions.
I'm a disabled male geek who is single and very lonely. I've lived in the Akron, OH area my entire life. I was born with Ataxic Cerebral Palsy. I can walk without assistance of crutches or a wheelchair, and speak clearly. The CP mostly manifests when I try to use fine motor skills like writing in small spaces and mechanical work.
I can't drive due to problems dividing my attention properly and reaction time problems too.
I like to work out between 2 to 3 times a week at the gym.
Although I'm on Classical Passions, I also like listening chip tunes, rock, game music, soundtracks, country, and some minor genres. I mostly read books, my favorite fiction author is Sir Terry Pratchett. I also read Neil Gaiman, Stephan King, and a few others. In addition to printed fiction, I like to read Fan fiction about the following franchises:
Harry PotterStargateBuffy and AngelBack to the FutureCarrie.
I play rogue likes and older FPSes.

`Hey Marz,

I know you're looking for ladies to respond, but I figure any public response will help keep the topic alive and the conversation flowing!

Sucks to the driving thing, but I doubt that impacts your quality of life too dramatically - we're both in our 30's and haven't keeled over from all the walking we do To be fair, I am learning to drive right now, though a mix of fear, timing and my own percieved struggles with multitasking are hinderances. I figure I'll still be walking tonnes after I start driving for real.

I admire your workout routine - I'm not social enough to want to do the gym thing, but I have been fairly consistent for the past 6 months on my exercise bike and have lost 20 lbs as a result.

Pretty cool on the music tastes and the fanfic stuff - I had no idea there was Carrie fanfic, that will be one of my 'learned something today' items'.

And as for rogue-likes, while I've never played Rogue, supposedly one of my favourite new games is considered a rogue-like - FTL. If you haven't played it yet and you're a space science fiction fan, I highly recommend it!
