Autistic Person looking for friendship

I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome in October 2016, though it has been a lifelong condition. I struggle with shyness and find it difficult to make connections with people at an emotional level and have very little relationship experience. Even so, I am a fairly easy person to get along with, just needing a little patience and understanding until I get to know someone better.

I spend a lot of time on my own and would like to change that, hoping to find a good friend or a special relationship.
